That’s a wrap on What Lies Beneath, folks! It’s been a wonderful adventure in the octopuses garden. We’re closed for a week to clean up and recover. See you next Tuesday Feb 4 2020
Huge thanks to everyone who helped put it together, came in and supported the exhibition, including these amazing people who help us spread the word:

Yesterday What’s On In Gympie took the time to have a chat with us about Cloudland – Gympie’s first rooftop cocktail bar event. It’s the event of the year in Gympie and loads of businesses have pitched in to make it really special. Check out the video to see the menu, hear about the Scurvy Dog, find out which cars the Gympie Historic Auto Club are bringing along and check out the Cloudmobile in all her V8 glory.
Ticket sales close tonight on Eventbrite so Book Now!
Have you heard about the Cloudland lucky door prize? Every ticket goes in the draw to win a years membership to AccorPlus worth $349. That’s an entire year of discounts and special privileges at 600 hotels and 800 restaurants in 17 countries starting with a free night in an Accor hotel. Accor hotels include Sofitel, Novotel, Mecure, Pullman including Kingfisher Bay Resort and Novotel Twin Waters.
AccorHotels have generously donated this prize because they believe that all tourism promotion is good for communities and the Gympie Bone Museum will be promoting this region to the world.
You’ve got to be in it to win it so book your tickets now!
Our first major fundraiser is scheduled for June 3 and will be a rooftop cocktail party featuring live music from Sista Lee and The Strangest Dreamers. $50 will get you entry to the concert, 3 cocktails and canapes. The evening will kick off at 4pm in time for sunset and go through until 8pm in time to move on to dinner. Tickets available at cloudland.eventbrite.com.au
If you can’t make it then please consider making a donation on the ticketing website anyway. If every ratepayer in Gympie donated just $1 we could open tomorrow!
