Headstone symbology and meanings intrigue many people as they wander through Cemeteries.
Our Gympie Cemetery has many old headstones with beautiful carvings.
Come and join us as we wander through the twilight and learn the stories behind the carvings on a tour led by Gympie history aficionado Di Woodstock. Di has led cemetery walks for many years that focus on the families and personalities who have been laid to rest in there, but this series of talks focuses on the fascinating history of grave art and monumental masonry.
